The world's most expensive player scored on his debut as Paris Saint-Germain cruised to a 3-0 win over Guingamp in Ligue 1 on Sunday.
Neymar made his highly-anticipated debut as expected in the club's second game of the season, joining Edinson Cavani and Angel di Maria in a talented front three.
But the Ligue 1 title favourites made heavy weather of it in a lacklustre first half, failing to find a way through the organised Guingamp defence.
A calamitous own goal set PSG on their way in the 52nd-minute before Neymar produced the moments of world-class quality that persuaded his new club to shell out the €222m transfer fee that prised him away from Barcelona.
First Neymar teed up Cavani for the second goal. And it was roles reversed in the 82nd-minute when the Uruguayan forward squared a pass across to Neymar to give the debutant the goal he'd been searching for.
Neymar and his new team-mates will face Toulouse at the Parc des Princes in their next game on Sunday 20 August.
