The Annual GREDA Exhibition and Ghana Property Awards and Dinner Dance 2011 returns for its 4th year on Friday the 28th and 29th of October 2011 at the Banquet Hall of the State House. The Theme for this year is "Exploiting Innovative Building Materials for a Sustainable Built Environment”.
The Chairman of this year's Awards is Mr. Togbor Mensah of DDP and the President is Dr. Alex Tweneboah, who also doubles as the President of GREDA.
The Event will reward outstanding achievements in the residential and the commercial property sector across twenty categories split between, open to entry and online nominations.
In September this year, GREDA and the Ghana Property Awards committee, unveiled the list of nominees in the 16 craft categories who have been chosen from a field of talent, innovative development to cost effective home development in the property and construction industry.
The award categories include; Best Architecture - (Commercial), Best Office development, Commercial Building Management Award, Interior Design Award, Hotel Development, Best Inputs Supplier, Best Recreational Park, Property Funding Partner, Residential Developer, Redeveloper of the year, Developer of the year (Up-market Properties) Developer of (Lower Income), Property Company of the Year, Service Plots Provider of the Year Award, Property New Comer of the year and the Property Personality of the Year Award.
The Chairman of GAPOA Awards 2011, Mr. Togbor Mensah in unveiling the list of nominees stated, "We are proud to be able to honour the incredibly creative home development and the artistic achievement of our GAPOA Awards Nominees.
With more submissions than ever before, this year's nominations represent the best of the best. These awards shine light on the amazing work that property developers contribute that is too often overshadowed.
This year’s awards will pull the leading real estate and property companies across the country to come together to celebrate Africa`s renowned Ghana Property and Construction Awards.
Attendees will include many representatives from various sectors within the real estate industry including architects, real estate agents, hoteliers, interior designers, engineers, marketing consultants, developers, investors, property and construction professionals and many more.
