It has been confirmed that the impending friendly fixture on September between the Black Stars and Mexico will not come on.
The Mexicans have opted to play the world’s top ranked team Brazil instead.
Mexico will play the South Americans in an exhibition match on that day.
Sources at the GFA indicated that other opponents are being considered for that same date which is an official FIFA international fixture date for friendly matches.
The Black Stars are billed to play Senegal in London on August 21.
