Ghana's home-based Black Stars continued their preparations for the CHAN qualifiers with a 2-1 win over Togo in Lome at the Stadé de Kegué.
WAFA duo Richmond Lamptey and Daniel Lomotey scored in each half to give the team led by Maxwell Konadu the win away.
Lamptey put Ghana ahead on the brink of halftime after he was played through by Kotoko defender Awal Mohammed. However, the Togolese restored parity through Issifou Bourhana heading home from a free kick.
Daniel Lomotey had the last say scoring the decisive winner to give Ghana a morale boosting victory.
All the attempts to restore parity once again for Togo proved futile as they run out of time and some incessant pressure on the Ghana backline.
The CHAN qualifiers are set for August and the technical team will have a fair idea of the team to represent the nation after playing their ninth friendly.
