Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic has dropped goalkeeper Richard Kingson and Dede Ayew for next week’s crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan for the first time in months.

Home-based shot stoppers Daniel Agyei and Ernest Sowah have been called up to join Norway based Adam Larsen Kwarasey as the goalkeeping options. Two new defenders who could make their debuts are Masawudu Alhassan of Serie A side Genoa and Yaw Frimpong of Asante Kotoko. Al Ain striker Asamoah Gyan made the squad alongside Turkey based duo Prince Tagoe and Dominic Adiyiah.
