President of Medeama SC, Moses Parker insists he will not give up on the team, despite its failure to win a major trophy since gaining promotion to the top flight last season.
The club fluffed an opportunity to add to their trophy cabinet when they lost to Berekum Chelsea in the final of the Ghalca 8 last weekend.
Medeama has channelled massive investments into the signing of 6 new players and renewal of contracts for 25 players ahead of the new season which begins on October 9.
Moses Parker told JOY Sports, “As a businessman I go into business for good returns so we thought we would win the G8 but it is unfortunate we couldn’t.
It’s not easy managing a football club but with the support of our sponsors Goldfields Ghana, Medeama will go higher next season.”
Medeama’s only silverware so far is the Kofi Annan Challenge Cup which they won after beating Ebusua Dwarfs 1-0 in Cape Coast earlier this month.
