Asamoah Gyan’s shock money bag move to Al Ain is set to open doors for great African Stars in the United Arab Emirates.
This was disclosed by the agent to the Black Stars striker Rawad Kassis in an interview with the CNN, Saturday.
Gyan in a move worth several thousands of Euros switched from the premiership to UAE on a loan spell with Al Ain.
His move shocked many football connoisseurs with some questioning the propriety of moving from arguably the best league in the world to a relatively unknown league in the gulf.
But explaining the decision by the ex-Sunderland striker, Rawad Kassis said it was a big challenge for Gyan.
He said the Ghanaian has played in Africa, Europe and wanted a new challenge in Asia.
Whilst he would not compare the competiveness of the Asian league to the premiership, Rawad said the league is becoming more and more professional and will in the next few years become one of the most attractive leagues in the world.
He said the money involved in the transfer saga is satisfying for everyone including Gyan.
