After having recovered from their opening loss at the 2011 All Africa Games, Ghana have marched to the finals where they meet South Africa.
The final meeting between both sides on Saturday would be the second clash involving the two sides at the Games in Maputo, Mozambique.
The Black Meteors had their opening day start hit by Shakes Mashaba's side as Ghana lost 1-0 in the group stage.
However, Kwesi Appiah's side rediscovered their form, beating hosts, Mozambique 4-3 to advance from the group before beating Cameroon 1-0 in the semi-finals.
Ghana's all local assembled squad might have won the praise of many as they are within distance of landing gold but are aware that the finals would not come easy.
Kwesi Appiah's side will attempt to continue with their run of form and overcome the setback against South Africa, as both sides meet again.
The Black Meteors, bronze medalists in the 2003 edition of the Games would want to make a giant leap for gold against South Africa, a side who's best finish is a bronze medal, won at the 1999 tournament.
