Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko Chairman Major (RTD) Yaw Ampeme Larson has died at the age of 77.
The astute football administrator passed on at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra on Sunday following a short illness.
"Yes it's true. He died yesterday at the 37 Military Hospital yesterday. He had been battling some sickness for some time before bidding us farewell,' said a family member Dora Opheba
He held the position of Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko before serving as a member of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA).
The book focused on the myth, perception and reality in Ghana football as against the concept of professionalism in football.
His Body has been deposited at the 37 military Hospital morgue.
