Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah says he has been impressed with the level of play in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Appiah, who has been monitoring the league since his return, says the level of play seen is a good sign of development.
WAFA currently lead the table after 14 matchdays but the general play of the league has seen a considerable improvement over the years and the coach is excited with the talents at his disposal on the local scene.
"Fortunately i have been able to watch five or six games and i have been impressed with the performance of individual players and the tactical play and i think it is a good sign of development," he told Joy Sports
Asked if what he has seen will help him select the best of players for the Local Black Stars, Appiah stated that "personally it is always difficult and I don't really use just a game to select a player, I must see him over and over to be 100 percent sure.
Kwesi Appiah has invited thirty home-based players into the Black Stars 'B' team to begin camping in Prampram.
