Interim Kotoko coach Frimpong Manso says he was impressed with the performance of his players despite their heavy defeat to Hearts of Oak.
Kotoko were heavily beaten 3-1 by the Phobians and were largely dominated by their rivals in the first leg of their Independence Cup.
Despite this, the former player of the club believes he has seen signs of progression in his team and this could be a positive sign for the Porcupine Warriors in the next few weeks.
“We have good materials but the results are not coming.”
“I know it is about performance because if you look at our games and you compare them we are improving.
“I know with time we will get to our destination. Our performance shows that going forward we will get the results.
“I know pressure is everywhere but I know I can do this job.”
The Porcupine Warriors will have a chance to make amends against Great Olympics this weekend.
