Ghana’s most popular witch doctor Kwaku Bonsam has surprisingly claimed he is behind Asante Kotoko’s recent struggles.
Kwaku Bonsam whose name translates literally as 'Devil of Wednesday' claims he has cursed the Porcupine Warriors for being ungrateful.
Kotoko, who started the season on a good note, unbeaten in first five matches, have all of a sudden lost their mojo and failed to impress causing the dismissal of Croatian trainer Zdravko Logarusic and dropping.
They have dropped from top four and had to smuggle their way through to round 32 of MTN FA Cup but sunk further on Monday as they were battered by rivals Hearts of Oak.
The Phobains won the first leg of the 60th Anniversary cup 3-1 in Accra.
"I have cursed Kotoko yes I have cursed them they can go and hire Joseph Mourinho and Alex Ferguson but yet they will still fail, I (Nana Kwaku Bonsam) has done this because of how ungrateful their supporters are," he told Kasapa FM
“I remember how Kotoko fans rained insults on me after helping them beat Hearts 1-0 last season through a Mallam Goal’.
“I cursed them because I want to prove my powers because of the win I have decided to donate my fat sheep to Hearts for pepper soup.
“The best thing Kotoko must do is to apologize to me or else they will perform worse than this and Hearts will continue to beat them anytime they square-off against them.
Their next game is against Great Olympics in Accra.
