New Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah has been introduced to Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah by Ghana Football Association.
As it’s been the norm over the years, Appiah followed GFA officials to the office of Minister on Monday for formal presentation as newly appointed head trainer of the senior national team.
The meeting precedes Appiah’s official unveiling to the general public later this week.
The Ghana FA Executive Committee settled on the former Khartoum SC coach to replace Avram Grant who departed following the team's failure to win 2017 Africa cup of Nations.
Appiah officially starts work on 01 May and will take charge of his first assignment early June against Ethiopia in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Before supervising two friendly matches against Mexico and USA in the States before leading the CHAN Black Stars in a two-legged tie against Burkina Faso.
