The Ghana Football Association President Kwasi Nyantekyi says all the candidates vying for the Executive Committee post of the Ghana Football Association are capable and competent.
Mr Nyantekyi who returned from the FIFA seminar on women’s football in Germany on Monday declined to endorse any of the candidates prior to the elections, but declared his intention to work with anybody who makes it to the Executive Committee.
He told Asempa Sports on Wednesday that, it will not be appropriate to endorse anybody since all the officials in the race are men of substance who can help promote the status of Ghana football.
He believes the delegates know best and will choose the right club officials to be on the Ghana football Association Executive Committee.
The election of the premier division representatives on the executive committee will come off on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 with Mr. Emmanuel Kyeremeh of Berekum Chelsea, Mr. Moses Armah of Medeama SC, Fred Crentsil of Accra Hearts of Oak, Felix Amoah Ansong of Liberty Professionals, J F Mensah of Ebusua Dwarfs, Emmanuel Owusu Ansah of Asante Kotoko, Kofi Manu of Aduana FC, Jones Alhassan-Abu of of RTU, Kudjoe Fianoo of Ashanti Gold, Desmond Frimpong-Manso of Heart of Lions and Randy Abbey of Mighty Jets all vying to be on the Executive Committee.
