Scottish trainer Frank Nuttall was left frustrated after seeing Hearts of Oak forced to settle for a point against Elmina Sharks at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Hearts of Oak were made to endure a frustrating day after being held to a 1-1 draw by a gritty Elmina Sharks.
Winful Cobbinah cancelled out a second half strike by Joseph Mensah to salvage a point and save Hearts from defeat despite a dominant performance at home and that did not go down well with Nuttall.
“We worked very hard throughout the game and we were unfortunate not to come away with the three points. It is the difficult when the opposition don’t come and play football.’’
“I’ve seen this before but this attitude was extreme. If the Ghana Premier League is going to get better, they need more teams like Hearts who are ready to play and don’t waste time, “Nuttall said in a post-match interview.
He added:”So we came to play football and we need both teams to do that and there is responsibility to the Ghana’s football that the teams play in the right spirit.”
Hearts move up to third despite failing to win.
