Leading telecommunication network, MTN in partnership with Dubai-based mobile company Fero have launched a 4G mobile phone.
The MTN-FeroL100 phone runs the current Android version 6 with a 5.0 inch HD display screen with a Dragontrail glass protection.
Besides the 4G/LITE connectivity, the device also comes with a 2350 MAH battery, 1GB RAM and a 5MP camera in the front for those who love to take their selfies as well as a 5MP rear camera.
Speaking at the launch, General Manager for Consumer Marketing at MTN, Noel Kojo-Ganson said the launch of the affordable smartphone is part of their resolve to offer customers quality service.
He indicated that the launch of the Fero L100; which is an entry point for an affordable smartphone will “allows our subscribers to experience the bold new digital world that we have or envisage for ourselves as a business”.
“The L100 is the most affordable 4G-enabled device available to our customers and it remains a stepping stone to more exciting offers MTN has in mind for Ghanaians this year” he added.
The regional CEO for FERO mobile, Sandeep Narayanan said the phone is the most affordable 4G device on the market at the moment with a Dragontrail glass protection which increases the durability of the device.
Mr. Sandeep Narayanan further on behalf of FERO Mobile expressed their delight to partner MTN as a conduit to enter the Ghanaian market.
The smartphone was specifically designed for MTN.
