Former Black Stars coach, James Kwesi Appiah, says calls for his possible return to handle the Black Stars is not out of place.
The former Asante Kotoko defender completed his interview with six member committee of the Ghana Football Association as he now awaits his fate.
The Al Khartoum coach was one of three coaches interviewed for the top job in Ghana football.
There has a groundswell of support for the man who was the first Ghanaian to take Ghana to the World Cup among former players, administrators and coach.
And the man himself believes those calls are not out of place.
“Along the line, people will look at the kind of work you did and say this person did this or that so.” He told GTV Sports Plus.
“I believe if I am appointed as the next Black Stars coach, it will not be out of place because I know what I can do as a coach and in coaching you know you can go out and come in.” he added
The next coach could be name as early as this week but definitely by the end of the month.
