Former Asante Kotoko coach Isaac Opeele Boateng wants fans and players as well as officials of the club to apologize to Referee Samuel Sukah after the Referee Review Committee cleared him of any wrongdoing in the Super Clash between Hearts and Kotoko.
Sukah was heavily criticized by a section of Kotoko fans and officials in what they described as a wrong call.
But the panel empowered to review the performance of match officials declared that the penalty awarded by referee Sukah was legitimate and the former coach of the club wants the Porcupine family to say sorry to referee Sukah.
"Kotoko must apologize and if they are able to do that it will show that they are good sports men who understand the game," he told Joy Sports.
"Even Ahmed Adams must also come out and apologize because he granted interviews and lambasted the referee.
"They would have to apologize because it was a clear penalty and the referee has been cleared of any wrongdoing."
