Coach Zdravko Logarusic is back to Accra, Ghana after his eight-day visit to his native country, Croatia. The Kotoko trainer returned on Monday night. He will spend the night in Accra and leave for Kumasi on Tuesday morning to continue his work at the club.
Zdravko left last week immediately after the ill-fated Super Clash at the Accra Sports Stadium. Days before the Super Clash, which Kotoko lost, Management granted the coach’s request to be away for eight days as the league competition was going on a two-week break.
Thus Zdravko Logarusic didn’t return to Kumasi with the team. He needed to be back home to properly organise himself and return in good time for his mandate at the fabulous club. In Zdravko’s absence, Assistant Coach, Godwin Ablordey and Team Manager, Shilla Alhassan supervised training sessions.
The Porcupines face Inter Allies on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on match day nine. Zdravko since becoming Kotoko coach on January 12, 2017 has won five league matches, drawn two and lost one under controversial circumstances.
