Former Ghana defender Anthony Baffoe believes having ex-footballers closer to the game is always the best for Ghana football.
People over the years have suggested to the Ghana Football Association to involve more ex- players in the day to day running of football in the country.
In terms of the Black Stars, many are of the view that the GFA should consider ex footballers in the backroom staff of the next coach and the former Ghana international is supportive of the idea.
"I believe there will be changes but as to who will not be there I can't tell and I also believe that Kwasi Appiah or whoever comes will have his choice of working with his people- we have ex footballers around with Maxwell Konadu and Ibrahim Tanko who was with the team in Gabon," Baffoe told Joy Sports
"I think everybody knows that I will always love for ex internationals to be closer to the game- it is administration, technically but the right people must be involved, those who are willing to work."
Names like former captain Stephen Appiah, Richard Kinston, Augustine Arhinful and CK Akunnor have come up for several roles in the team.
