Ghana’s leading live radio streaming service, myjoyonline.com, has been restored with more enhanced services after months of technical hitches.
Multimedia Broadcasting Company, owners of myjoyonline.com, has apologised to its loyal international listeners for going off line.
The Online Editor, Mr Isaac Yeboah told Joy News on Friday the live streaming had to be taken off to transfer it to a larger server to accommodate the growing number of listeners.
“Let me apologise to our listeners and readers for the time that we have been off. It has not been very pleasant. It was as a result of technical reasons. We have over grown our facilities because more people are coming to our website…In those days we were unable to host our concurrent users, you listen to the online radio and it cuts but now all those problems are over,” he said.
Mr Yeboah promised that very soon programmes being aired on Joy FM’s sister stations, Hitz FM, Asempa and Adom FM would be posted on myjoyonline.
Readers can also access recordings of their favourite programmes such as the Super Morning Show, Front Page, News File and News Night at Audio-on-Demand section of this website.
As part of the new services on myjoyonline, readers can now access the website on their mobile phones in any part of the world if their phones are GPRS or an internet service compactable. Just go to wap.myjoyonline.com and catch up with the latest.
“You can also check out our mypaddies.com, powered by myjoyonline to meet long lost friends during school days as well as send free SMS,” he said.
