Hearts of Oak head coach, Frank Nuttall is pleased with the performance of his players in win over city rivals Great Olympics.
Hearts fought hard to pick all three points at the Accra sports stadium against an impressive Olympics side to move up the league table to sixth.
Skipper Inusah Musah scored his first goal of the campaign to settle the score in the Phobians’ favour with less than 10 minutes remaining on the clock and game looked to end in a stalemate after Benjamin Arthur levelled the score line in the 41th minute after Paul Acquah opened the scoring on the 25th minute mark.
According to the Scottish trainer, his team started very well having created numerous chances but certain mistakes led to the equaliser, but was satisfied with the reaction of the players afterwards.
“We started the game in a high tempo, the players were following instructions very well and we created some early chances. I was happy with the way things were going until when we made some few mistakes which led to the equaliser.
“So we spoke about that calmly in the dressing room, and explained how we needed to go back to the game plan because it was working. So it was just about the players showing the same team spirit since I joined the club, and I was very happy how they reacted to get the winner,” Nuttal said in an interview.
Hearts will come up against Tema Youth on Wednesday.
