The body of the Ghanaian leukemia patient who recently died in London, Danny Whyte has been brought to Accra for burial.
The late Danny Whyte set up a Trust – DWIB - for the establishment of a bone marrow register, after he was diagnosed with leukemia.
His campaign created a lot of awareness in Ghana about the disease. Mr Whyte died at the Kings College Hospital in London, where he was undergoing chemotherapy.
His uncle, Mr Francis Hans Jories told Joy News he would be buried on Friday, July 20, 2007 at the Osu cemetery after a burial service at the Ridge Church.
Danny Whyte, who died single, is survived by four children.
