Two of Ghana’s most decorated clubs, Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko have been ranked in Africa’s best ten clubs of all time.
The ranking released by Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) placed the Porcupine Warriors as the fourth best ever team in Africa with 48 points.
The Phobians placed eighth with 32 points.
The ranking comes at a time when the performance of both teams in the local league has been suspect.
In two consecutive seasons both clubs have failed to win the premiership relinquishing that enviable position to Aduana Stars and Berekum Chelsea.
The ranking however placed Al Ahly of Egypt as Africa’s best club of all time with 68 points.
