The chief executive officer of Ghana Premier League side Bechem United Kingsley Owusu wants Ghanaians to support them as they begin their campaign in Africa on Sunday.
Bechem United will host Algerian side MC Alger on Sunday at the Accra Stadium in the first leg of the preliminary rounds.
Kingsley Owusu is calling for support from Ghanaians as they seek their first victory in the CAF Confederations Cup competition.
“We want Ghanaians to come in their numbers and support us. We are the only team from Ghana in the Confederations Cup so it is important for every Ghanaian to be at the stadium on Sunday, “ he said.
“Victory on Sunday will be victory for Ghana and so I will encourage everyone to support us in this campaign.”
Bechem United are making their first appearance in Africa’s inter-Club competition after winning the MTN FA Cup competition.
