Former Nigeria international Etim Esin has praised the sons – Jordan and Andre Ayew - of Legendary Ghanaian midfielder Abedi Pele and has tipped Ghana to reach the finals of 2017 Africa cup of Nations at Cameroon’s expense.
The Black Stars will be will be seeking to avenge the 2008 semi-final defeat at the hands of Cameroon on home soil and they have the backing of Esin who reckons Avram Grant’s men have played well in the competition.
"It is a very difficult to pick between Ghana and Cameroon because they are two great African football nations," Esin tells Completesportsnigeria.com.
"But I'm very happy with what Abedi Pele's sons (Andre and Jordan) are doing. Abedi captained Ghana, his son (Andre) is now the captain, which is great.
"So, if I am forced to make a pick, I think I will go for Ghana because they are really doing well."
The match will be played in Franceville with the winner taking on Egypt who advanced last night following victory on penalties against Burkina Faso
