Nana Ato Arthur, the Central Regional Minister has advised Ghanaian children to take their studies seriously to enable them to achieve their aspirations in life and to contribute meaningfully to national development in the future.
He asked parents to take advantage of the Capitation Grant and the School Feeding Programme to send their children to school to enable them attain the necessary skills and knowledge so that they could cope with the challenges of the future.
Nana Arthur gave the advice at a durbar organized by the Chiefs and people of Eguaafo and Abrem Traditional Areas in the Komenda-Edina-Eguaafo-Abrem (KEEA) District to honour him for his hard work.
The Regional Minister gave the assurance that the Government would provide basic amenities and infrastructure towards the socio-economic development of the people.
Saaka Dramani, the District Coordinating Director commended Nana Arthur for ensuring that the area benefited from development projects and said the Regional Minister was "reaping the fruits of the good seeds he sowed."
Mr. Dramani urged the people to support the Regional Minister towards the development of the area.
In a citation, Nana Kwamina Ansah IV, the Omanhene of Eguaafo Traditional Area and the President of the Regional House of Chiefs commended the Nana Arthur for his commitment to duty and urged him to work harder towards the development of the Region.
Nana Arthur was enstooled 'sompahene' and was presented with a stool, and a gold necklace and ring.
