Turkish second-tier side Ümranıyespor have acquired the services one time Ghana Premier League goalking Mahama Otoo on loan till the end of the season.
The 24-year-old joins the side as a free agent after ending his contract with Norwegian outfit Songdal.
Former Hearts of Oak star passed his mandatory medical before putting pen-to-paper on the deal on Tuesday becoming second Ghanaian after Seidu Salifu, who is on a six months loan, to sign for the small but ambitious club.
Mahatma is said to have held talks with Songdal over extension of stay but the Norwegian decided not to extend his contract.
As a result signing a short term contract with the Turkish side with a view of making it permanent next season if he excels.
Otoo was in the company of ex-Kotoko star Yusif Alhassan Chibsah, who has been key to several move of Ghanaian players with the notable one being Daniel Amartey’s move to Leicester City.
