Former Kotoko player, Shilla Alhassan has been named as the club’s new Team Manager. His appointment takes immediate effect. The former Kotoko striker takes over from Prince Adu Poku who incidentally is also a former Kotoko striker. The changes are accordance with the ongoing restructuring of the technical team ahead of the new season.
Shilla Alhassan played for Kotoko between 1998 and 2005. He was one of the club’s most reliable goal poachers around that time. He joined Kotoko from Real Tamale United (RTU) after stints with Ahli Dubai in the United Arab Emirates in 1996. He was loved by many supporters for his loyalty and dedicated service.
Shilla Alhassan is expected to bring his knowledge and experience to help reshape the technical team as Management seeks domestic glories in the 2016/17 season. As a former Kotoko player, Shilla Alhassan won’t have problems or difficulties settling in the team. Management and supporters alike will be expecting so much from him in the new season.
