Three persons are reported to have died following an explosion at an illegal mine site at Kenyase in the Bono Ahafo region.
Dozens were also injured in the blast.
An eyewitness, Emmanuel Awuni, told Joy News fire from an electric plant being used by the illegal miners ignited some explosives at the site.
