The Ghana Health Service has been reviewing its operations to make them more effective.
Among other things, the service is looking at increasing its work force and sourcing additional funds to compliment what Government provides.
Officials of the service have been meeting in Accra to assess their performance for last year and make necessary recommendations.
Speaking to Joy News, the Greater Accra Regional health director,Dr Irene Agyepong indicated that one of the major issues confronting the service were human resource and the needed to run the health sector.
Dr.Irene also pointed out the need to fine issues that will ensure equitable distribution of human resources in the health sector.
