The Ghana Football Association Presidential aspirant Neil Armstrong Mortagbe says, the Executive Committee of the GFA announcement that only one candidate has qualified to contest for the GFA Presidency has not come to his notice and therefore sees it as unofficial.
An FA statement released yesterday by the Executive Committee read: "Further to the notice of Congress dated 31st March, 2011 and pursuant to article 28.6 of the GFA Statutes, please be informed that only one candidate qualifies to contest for the election to the office of the President of the Ghana Football Association - 2011."
But according to Mr Armstrong who has dclared his intention to vie for the FA presidency, the Executive Committee has not officially communicated to him on his disqualification.
He told asempa sports that, he is waiting for the official communication from the committee on the grounds of his supposed disqualification before he will challenge it if necessary.
