Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew is in contention for the Union National des Footballeurs Professionnels’ Player of the Month Award for March in the French Ligue 1.
But the 21-year-old faces competition with Lille duo Eden Hazard and Antonio Mavuba.
Ayew scored the winner against Paris Saint Germain before the international break and put up strings of impressive displays which has kept Marseille in second place on the Ligue 1 table.
His inspiring display for Marseille in March has earned him his first nomination for the prestigious trophy.
Fans of the Ligue 1 are expected to cast their vote for the three candidates.
The Ghana winger stands a better chance of winning the award for the first time in his French career.
