Staff of United Bank for Africa (UBA) Ghana last weekend jogged on selected streets in Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi. The exercise, dubbed Jogging to Bond” which started three years ago is organized with the aim to exercise and bond quarterly.
This, being the first for this year and eighth in three years welcomed over three hundred enthusiastic staff and family members nationwide.
In Kumasi, ecstatic staff of UBA took off from the Depot Police Station and fun jogged through Santasi to Opoku Ware Secondary School where they engaged in aerobics and other activities.
The staff in Takoradi thronged to the Ghana Secondary Technical School (G.S.T.S) sports field after the walk for their rigourous and exciting aerobic session.
18 branches in the Accra, Tema and Aflao business areas after the 30 kilometer walk converged at the Ghana International School (G.I.S)park where they had their aerobics session led by a seasoned instructor.
A football game between UBA Lion FC and a select side from the region climaxed the exercise.
