Officials at the Kasoa hospital say they are overwhelmed by the number of cholera cases being reported there.
Kasoa has recorded the highest number of cases in the country with at least three incidents being reported each day.
Hospital authorities are attributing the situation to the unsanitary conditions there.
The Officer in charge of cholera at the Kasoa hospital, Charles Barfi said the hospital started receiving cholera cases in December last.
He said the situation worsened since February this year.
Meanwhile, President Mills has ordered the release of five million cedis to control the epidemic.
Director of the Ghana Health Service Dr. Elias Sory however said very little can be done with the money if those who are supposed to take preemptive action, fail to do so.
