The 2007 edition of the annual Joy FM Bridal Fair has now been fixed for July 12 to 15 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
It had originally been scheduled to start from July 6 and close on July 9, however the Fair Planning Committee says the new date has become imperative as a result of the national citizens awards ceremony to be held on the 6th of July at the same venue.
The committee has consequently apologised to sponsors, exhibitors and all other participants for any inconvenience caused as a result of the date change.
The fair serves as a platform to showcase marriage products and services including jewellery, bridal gowns, cakes and suits.
There would be a marriage seminar, a fashion show as well as live musical performances throughout the four-day fair.
Organisers expect at least 15,000 people to visit the fair grounds this year to make purchases and establish contacts.
The Fair, sponsored by Quality Insurance Company, Jandel décor Limited, Coke Light from Coca Cola and supported by Maggie from Nestle Ghana ltd and Charter House, has so far registered about 120 exhibitors.
All Joy FM programmes would be broadcast live from the Fair grounds between 6am and 6pm daily.
