Chief Executive Officer of the National Sports Council, Mr. Worlanyo Agrah says the independence amateur boxing inter-club tournament should be an annual event.
According to him, this initiative should be extended to the other regions for the competition to be held simultaneously each year.
He believes with the good steps that the Ghana Amateur Boxing is taking with corporate sponsorship and individuals planning properly, Ghana can reach a level in boxing where it will be recognized worldwide.
The independence amateur boxing inter-club tournament, which begun on Tuesday is scheduled to end on Saturday
