The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has appointed Gabonese referee Eric Otogo Castane to officiate Ghana’s crucial 2018 World Cup qualifier clash against Egypt.
The 40-year is hugely remembered for officiating Ghana's clash with Equatorial Guinea at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations which the Black Stars won 3-0 to book final ticket – and lost the trophy to Ivory Coast.
Castane will be assisted by countrymen Theophille Vinga and Moussounda Montel.
Ghana will take on the Pharaohs on November 13 in Alexandria with Avram Grant’s men needing maximum points after a slow start – goalless draw against Uganda in Tamale.
