After an unimpressive start to the 2018 World Cup qualifiers against the Cranes of Uganda, Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyeman Bad has vowed that the team will bounce back in their next match against Egypt.
Ghana were held to a goalless draw in the Northern Regional capital of Tamale in a very drab encounter which saw the team fail to glitter.
The Udinese midfielder who started the game from the bench, replaced midfielder Afriyie Acquah in the second half and added an extra drive and dynamism to the Ghana game but that was still not enough to give Ghana the needed breakthrough.
Badu was constantly pictured giving instructions to his colleagues in the first and the former youth World Cup winner believes his side committed mistakes.
Despite this, he believes they have enough quality to bounce back to put smiles on the faces of Ghanaians.
“We’ll bounce back against Egypt and get back to our strength”.
“We have learnt our lessons.”
Egypt host Ghana in November 13 in Alexandria while Uganda battles Congo in Kampala.
