It starts all over again for Ghana at the under 20 level with the Africa Youth championship fast approaching in Libya next month.
There are still memories of the Black Satellites historic feat in 2009 when they romped to the world title for the first time by any African side.
But that started with victory in Rwanda when Andre Ayew’s team beat Cameroon to win the African title.
Now a new team under the same management of Jordan Anagbla and the then assistant coach now head coach Orlando Wellington prepare for the defense of the titles after two years, how time flies.
Just like the 2009 championship in Rwanda, the Satellites find themselves in a tough group with rivals Nigeria, Cameroun and Gambia.
Jordan Anagbla has told Joy Sports an assistant coach is the only thing left before it leaves for Libya but management is not in a rush.
He said the team was doing extremely well.
