Former King Faisal Coach Zdravko Logurasic is set to seal a six-month deal by the close of the week at AshantiGold SC as Head Coach of the club.
This follows the sudden departure of David Duncan from Ashgold.
AshantiGold are just about has failed to climb into the top four of the Premier league after 19 matches.
Logurasic holds a UEFA Pro License and has 18 years experience in coaching. The Croat tactician led King Faisal last season to a 10th place finish.
If the deal is concluded he will be assisted by Kofi Owusu and Kamara Dini.
The Operations Director of the club George Amoako told Joy Sports if the coach performs well in the remaining 12 matches he could be landed a permanent deal by the end of the season.
