Wa All Stars will attempt to halt the impressive run of leaders Chelsea of Berekum later today in match day 19 of the Glo Premier league.
Chelsea have opened an 11 point lead on the league table and appear favorites to be crowned champions with 12 games to go.
All Stars, their opponents, have been inconsistent this season after an impressive start to their campaign.
Head Coach of Wa All Stars, Maxwell Konadu regrets the sale of top striker, Nathaniel Asamoah to Asante Kotoko but says he knows how to stop Chelsea.
Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko are both under intense pressure to win their games later today before the league takes a break for the local Black Stars to prepare for the CHAN tournament.
Hearts will travel to Len Clay as guests of Ashantigold who themselves have struggled for the most part of this season. Hearts striker Mahatma Otoo is hopeful his side can get maximum points against the miners.
Asante Kotoko will have a relatively easier task as they welcome bottom Club BA Stars to the Baba Yara Stadium.
Kotoko are bent on returning to winning ways after last weekend’s defeat to Berekum Chelsea.
Veteran Coach J.E Sarpong believes he has found an antidote to Liberty Professional’s poor form after recording his first win in three games last Sunday in Obuasi.
The Dansoman team will face third placed New Edubiase and Coach Sarpong knows he must secure another victory to break away from the relegation zone.
At Kpando, Heart of Lions will be inspired by the weekend victory against Hearts of Oak in Accra and have the upper hand over King Faisal.
Elsewhere, Berekum Arsenals will face RTU at the Coronation Park while Dwarfs play Kessben FC at the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast. Tudu Mighty Jets are home to Medeama FC at the El Wak Stadium.
