The Black Queens have immediately moved to camp at their Prampram base after returning from the Guinean capital Conakry where they beat their counterparts 2-0 to make a bright start to their 2012 Olympic Games qualifying campaign.
Two second half goals from midfielders Florence Okoe and Portia Boakye ensured the Queens' victory.
The win is a massive morale booster for the Queens following their woeful performance at last year’s African Women’s Championship in South Africa as a result of poor preparations.
But Coach Anthony Adusei has told Joy Sports he has discovered the antidote for the Queens' predicament.
He said it was important to keep the players in camp for a rigid training regime that will adequately prepare them for the assignments ahead.
The Queens must make sacrifices if they want to achieve significant results, he noted.
