Bechem Chelsea’s striker Emmanuel Clottey is poised to win the goal king race for the second time as he scored his eighth goal against Kumasi Asante Kotoko over the weekend with just one goal adrift the leader Nathaniel Asamoah who has nine goals.
Clottey was banned for 12 months last season for breaching his contract with Great Olympics.
The 23-year-old was the top scorer in the Premier league with 14 goals in 2007 and tells Joy Sports he will emulate this feat this season.
He is relying on hard work and prayers to achieve his objective.
