Former IBF welterweight champion Joshua Clottey has been handed another opportunity to redeem his image in the ring after a poor showing against the World’s best pound-for-pound fighter Manny Pacquiao last year.
Clottey nicknamed “the Grandmaster” is scheduled to fight American light middle weight boxer, Calvin Green in Las Vegas scheduled for March this year.
Green is also hoping to make a strong comeback after losing his last bout to fellow American Sergio Mora in September last year.
But Joshua Clottey’s trainer Godwin Nii Dzanie Kotey does not think Green will be a tough opponent.
He said Joshua has learnt his lessons and is determined not to repeat the mistakes that caused his defeat in the last fight.
Nii Kotey said the former IBF welterweight champion was keen on using the fight against Green as platform to stage his comeback.
