The Fair Wages and Salaries Commission has completed the migration of eight more public institutions onto the single spine salary structure.
Workers of those institutions, including the Ghana News Agency, National Theater, Ghana Law School and civil employees of the Ghana Armed Forces should as a result begin to enjoy the enhanced salaries by the end of this month.
The Finance Ministry would however first have to approve it so the Controller and Accountant General can pay.
It brings to 30 the number of institutions migrated so far even though only 20 are currently enjoying single spine salaries.
Chief Executive George Graham told Joy Business his outfit is working hard to complete work on the remaining institutions, especially those in the education sector.
He said once the education and health sectors are migrated to the SSSS, the most difficult task of the Commission would have been fulfilled.
