Communications Director of Hearts of Oak Albert Commey says the management of the club is not keen on sacking Head Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin despite the club’s patchy run in the Premier League this season.
This comes after the Phobians suffered a 2-1 loss to RTU in Tamale at the weekend.
Hearts finished the first round of the league on 9th position after winning just 5 of its 15 matches.
The widely held view is that Coach Fabin could become the next coaching casualty in the Premier League.
But, Albert Commey told Joy Sports the club will give the situation a careful consideration.
“We need to really look at other factors rather than looking at issues about coaching. I don’t think management has any [resevations] about coaching now, management is looking at making sure that we play well, we take our chances,” he said.
Mr Commey said security at matches was a huge concern. “A true reflection of the league will come when we play on a level playing field – when you don’t, intruders come and stand behind your goal posts…”.
