Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan is likely to go on loan from Shangai SIPG before the summer transfer window closes.
Gyan has struggled to play games for the Chinese side following his reccurring injuries which have haampered his progress in the team.
This has become a worry for manager Sven Goran Errikson who brought Gyan in from UAE Pro-League side Al Ain FC for an undisclosed fee two seasons ago.
The 30-year old wants to pick up by seeking for a move away from the Chinese side.
“We have spoken to the club about a loan move for Gyan and they have agreed,” manager of Asamoah Gyan Samuel Anim said.
“There are so many offers on the table but as we have always done we will look at the offers and check what best suits Gyan and decide on what to do."
“Gyan is very focused on his career and has been training very hard, so we are looking at the options.”
Gyan is expected to be part of the Ghana squad which plays Rwanda in the last group game of the AFCON 2017 qualifiers.
