Burkina Faso coach Seraphine Degari has claimed that Ghana used 'over-age players' in the first leg of the 2017 African Youth qualifier played at the at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday.
The Black Starlets thrashed the Burkinabe’s 5-1 after making a bright start.
Coach Degari who watched his side threw away an early lead to lose by that margin noted that Ghana fielded over-age players.
“The Ghanaian team were much older than my players, Ghana is not U17 because five of the players I spotted can never be U17 players,” he told Joy Sports
They are older than the 17 years cut off point and for me we are also going to get over age players to face them in the second leg.
Burkina Faso will host Ghana for the second leg which will be played on August 20, 2016.
