Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng has agreed to join UD Las Palmas.
The 29-year-old, who played for AC Milan last season, has signed on for a year with an option for a further season.
Boateng becomes Las Palmas boss Quique Setien’s fourth signing ahead of the 2016/17 La Liga campaign after Hélder Lopes, Mako Livaja and Michel Macedo.
He originally came through the Hertha Berlín youth system before signing for Tottenham in 2007 at the age of 20.
Ex-Spurs director of football Damien Comolli admitted that the club made a mistake in signing Boateng, saying it may well have been the club’s fault that he was a flop at White Hart Lane.
Boateng made just over a dozen Premier League appearances in the two years before moving to Portsmouth.
